As my good friend put it:  Living in the north country, you have nine months of winter and three months of bad skiing!  Perhaps a bit of an exaggeration, but I still enjoy carving turns on free heel'ed equipment and just getting out in the snow.  It doesn't matter if its lift service, groomed track, picking a path through the trees or snow-shoeing.  Its all good fun.
